Independence

Lab Intelligence is an autonomous and independent project. It does not represent or communicate on behalf of employers, public authorities, data providers or other organisations, unless a specific collaboration is expressly disclosed.

In practice this means no published content is agreed, reviewed or authorised by third parties, and that opinions expressed commit no organisation. Where a collaboration exists, it is declared on the page of the project concerned.

Information boundary

The laboratory does not acquire or use confidential information, internal documentation, credentials, proprietary data or materials lacking appropriate authorisation.

Content relies on public sources, synthetic data or materials with documented provenance.

The boundary can be checked after the fact: every workflow documents the sources it draws on, and data generated for demonstration is labelled as synthetic both on the project page and in the published content. A result that cannot state its own origin is not published.

Separation of resources

The laboratory’s accounts, repositories, domains, credentials and infrastructure are kept separate from the tools and environments of third-party organisations.

Collaborations

Any potential collaboration is assessed separately with regard to compatibility, authorisations, intellectual property, security, data protection and responsibility.
